Frequently asked questions
Is repatriation to Switzerland covered?
Yes. Under SOS144, SOS144 Pro and SOS144 Max, medically necessary return to your place of residence is covered worldwide without limit. This also applies to repatriation in the event of death.
ERV doctors assess whether repatriation is necessary and determine its form and timing. Repatriation must always be arranged through the 24/7 emergency assistance centre on +41 848 801 803 and approved in advance.
Under SOS144 Go, medically supervised return and repatriation in the event of death are each covered up to CHF 5,000 per person.
