Are expeditions covered ?
No. Expeditions are excluded. These include multi-day scientific exploration and research trips to remote, undeveloped regions and mountain tours from a base camp above 7,000 metres. Under the GCI, expeditions also include tours in particularly remote regions such as the polar regions, large deserts, the Amazon and Greenland, and the exploration of certain cave systems.
