What does the trekking cover include?
Trekking cover is included under SOS144 Max. It covers necessary search, recovery, rescue and evacuation costs for defined incidents on a trekking route. Immediate medical measures and transfer to the nearest suitable hospital are also included.
For a mountain emergency without medical necessity, the benefit is limited to CHF 500 per person and event. Additional costs for continuing the trip or trekking route are covered up to CHF 1,000 per person.
