What happens if someone else arranges the rescue?
In a medical emergency, obtaining help as quickly as possible is the priority. Someone else may therefore call the local emergency number and arrange the rescue at any time. Cover does not depend on who made the emergency call or whether you were able to contact SOS144 yourself.
For repatriation or other assistance benefits, contact the 24/7 emergency assistance centre as soon as possible afterwards on +41 848 801 803.
