If an insured event occurs, SOS144 Pro and SOS144 Max cover additional costs for continuing the trip or making an unscheduled return journey. Depending on the situation, unused travel services, a temporary return home or a visit by close relatives to the bedside may also be covered.
The 24/7 emergency assistance centre must be contacted in advance and approve the benefits. Without prior approval, benefits are limited to a maximum of CHF 400 per person and event.
